The most crucial step in maintaining your costume/Silver plated jewellery is to keep it away from anything that can react with the plating. That includes soap, perfume, moisturiser, dishwashing detergent, and anything else that might include chemicals that will dull the object's sheen.​

Cleaning your silver plated Jewellery

Use of regular soap and water can bring back the shine of any silver-plated goods that are beginning to show signs of tarnish. 

Make a frothy mixture in a container by combining warm water, mild liquid soap. For several minutes, submerge the jewellery in the water. 
Rub the objects with a gentle cloth, making sure to get all of the surfaces. If the jewellery has intricate engravings or a lot of grooves, clean such places with a soft-bristled toothbrush. 
Rinse the objects in warm water after cleaning. 
Before putting the jewellery away, thoroughly wipe it with a lint-free cloth and ensure sure it has dried completely.

Cleaning your Gold plated Jewellery

Make a foamy solution, combine warm water and a mild liquid soap in a basin. Put the jewellery in the water and let it soak for several minutes. - Remove the jewellery from the water, then rub it with a soft cloth (Lint Free), making sure to wipe all surface areas.

Cleaning your costume Jewellery

Use a bottle of acetone-free nail polish remover, it will function similarly to commercial cleaning. Dip the jewellery piece in a tiny dish of jewellery cleaner to clean. The metal could be harmed if you leave the item in the bowl for any longer than 30 seconds. 

Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the jewellery item, then rinse with warm water and pat dry. After cleaning, polish jewellery by buffing it with a fresh polishing cloth.

Reccomendations:

Put your jewellery on last, particularly after you have finished applying your moisturisers, fragrances, hairspray, perfume, makeup, etc.

Wearing jewellery in the bath or shower is not recommended because water, soap, and other bath products can damage your jewellery.

We always recommend putting your jewels on last to avoid chemical exposure. 

Wearing jewellery in the pool is not recommended because chlorine and salt water can damage it. 

When changing clothes, remove your jewellery first to avoid getting your necklaces, bracelets, and earrings caught on your garments and getting damaged.
